As a dairy department stocker at Roche Bros., I was responsible for helping maintainin the appearance and organization of the dairy section in the store. During my time there, I developed various skills:

Inventory Management: I was responsible for monitoring the dairy section's inventory, ensuring that everything was well stocked. I helped customers if the item was still in the cooler or on my cart and hadn't been stocked yet.

Organizational Skills: I arranged dairy products in the coolers in a neat and visually appealing manner, pulling them to the front and making sure they're organized.

Customer Service: I assisted customers with finding dairy products, providing recommendations and answering questions about products.

Attention to Detail: I was diligent in checking expiration dates and removing outdated products, maintaining the quality and safety of the dairy section. I also regularly helped clean and change plastic liners mitigate any residue from broken dairy products.

Physical Demands: I can lift and carry at least 50 lbs, as well as maneuver carts that are 100s of pounds.

As a package handler I worked in a fast paced environment and learned the following:

Priotitization: When handling many packages, I organized packages by truck as they came and prioritized large packages as well as trucks with many packages first in order to efficently load the trucks

Safety Awareness: I learned to use proper loading techniques and the importance of stretching before physical labor tasks in order to mitigate irritating muscles and joints.
